4 1/4 C flour
3 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 tsp shortening
2 C warm water
-Combine dry ingredients evenly.
-Cut in shortening.
-Add most of the water and mix by hand. Add rest of water if necessary.
-DO NOT OVERWORK THE DOUGH
-Roll into lots of fist sized balls of dough.
-Roll out to desired thickness.
-Place in frying pan and cook over medium heat.
-When the dough gets largish bubbles, turn over and cook on the other side.
